The Creek Valley District is a Rural Consolidated Class III School serving the communities of Chappell, Sunol, and Lodgepole. Chappell is located on Highway 30 in Deuel County. Lodgepole is located on Highway 30 in Cheyenne County. Sunol is located on Highway 30 in Cheyenne County.The 2010 census indicated a population of 929 people in Chappell, a population of 318 in Lodgepole, and a population of 75 in Sunol. Creek Valley Elementary School serves grades K-6 with a 2018-2019 enrollment of 96 students. C.V.E.S is located in Chappell. Students participate in an 7.5 hour day and experience a variety of course offerings. The staff of Creek Valley Schools currently consists of 24 certified employees, 16 non-certified employees, and 2 administrators. The number of employees holding a Master’s Degree in the district is 5. A number of staff members serve in multiple school sites.
