DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Fremont Middle School moved into a new building in August 2003. The middle school incorporates teaming at grades seventh and eighth - with common planning time for staff. Approximately six teams averaging just over one-hundred students per team and three-hundred per grade comprise the student body. Students are offered a wide range of elective courses in a modified block schedule with two-thirds of the student’s day spent in math, science, social studies, and English. An advisor-advisee program focusing on character education is used at all grade levels. Mr. Scott Jensen is the current Middle School principal.
