DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Fremont Middle School, 540 Johnson Road, grades seven and eight, incorporates teaming, team planning, opportunities for cross-curricular implementation and a 1:1 student and staff chromebook implementation . Approximately six teams averaging approximately one-hundred students per team and three-hundred per grade comprise the student body. Two-thirds of the student’s day is spent in math, science, social studies, and English. Additionally, students are engaged in exploring areas such as physical education, coding, business/computer apps, family & consumer science, art, industrial technology and fine arts within a 7 week cycle. Fremont Middle School implements a Multi Tiered Systems of Support in academics and behaviors, to help students achieve social, emotional, and academic success. LaVonna Emanuel is the current middle school principal.
