DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Fremont Middle School is located at 540 Johnson Road and is home to 7th and 8th grade students. Six teams averaging approximately 110-125 students with a total of 750 students comprise the student body. Two-thirds of the student’s day is spent in math, science, social studies, and English. In addition, students are engaged in exploring areas such as physical education, health, coding/business, family & consumer science, art, career exploration, reading, and fine arts within a 7 week cycle. FMS has EL Programming to include a 7-8 Newcomer Program. All Resource 1 special education students are fully included in regular education classes through co-taught classes. Our students are 1:1 with individual chromebooks. FMS implements a Multi-Tiered System of Supports in academics and behaviors and Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) to help students achieve social, emotional, and academic success. FMS sets high expectations centered around being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.
