DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Grant Elementary School is located at 226 N Grant Street in the south-central part of Fremont and enrolls approximately 160 students in PK - 4th Grade. In addition to regular education programs, Grant offers Title I Reading Support and Special Education Services to students at Grant, Trinity, and Bergan Elementaries. The staff includes 8 classroom teachers, a special education teacher, a Title I Reading Support Specialist, along with a variety of other specialized certified personnel. Grant uses a Multi Tiered System of Support to support both academics and behavior, and Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) to help students achieve social, emotional and academic success. We work with the 21st Century Learning Program to provide Extended Learning to our students through our After School Program, which is offered daily throughout the school year. The PTA is active in supporting the school, our students, and their families. Julie Muller is the current Grant School Principal
