DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Washington teachers and staff strive to provide an inlcusive learning environment focused on providing access to meaningful learning opportunities to help students reach their full potential. Washington's approximately 370 students in PreK-4th grade are served by 27 certificated classroom and specialty teachers, a comprehensive school psychologist, nurse, and 12 classified staff members. Washington's programming includes special education and speech services, a multi-tiered system of support for reading and behavior, and programming for our multilingual learners. Washington is also home to Fremont's elementary dual language program. Our dual language classrooms are composed equally of native English and native Spanish speakers, and students learn in both English and Spanish. Washington also provides after school programming. We have an active PTA which provides various opportunities for our families throughout the school year. Erica Kobza is the current principal at Washington School.
