DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Howard Elementary School, located at 240 N Howard St in southeast Fremont, currently has three sections of each grade level, with the exception of grade three which has two sections, all day kindergarten, and three special education resource rooms. A district-funded remedial reading program is also available at the school. Howard's enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year was 266 students. The school boasts a very active PTA, and parent volunteers working with individual students are a common sight in the halls. As residential growth continues in southeast Fremont, Howard is expected to experience moderate but steady growth. Mrs. Andrea Eisner is the school principal.
