DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Davenport school is the location of the Early Childhood Development Center. Referrals are processed at this location to determine if children have special needs in accordance to Nebraska Rule 51. Special Education services for children ages birth to three are provided in the home, children ages three to five receive special education support at Head Start, private preschools or at this center based location. At Davenport there are preschool sessions available in the morning and afternoon. The students participate in the AEPS curriculum and assessment and this information is utilized in development of IFSPs and IEPs. Theresa Muhle is the building administrator.
