DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Johnson Crossing Academic Center, located at 200 Johnson Road opened its doors in the fall of 2012. Approximatel 52 certified and 30 classified faculty and staff provides educational and support services to approximately 670 students. Six special education teachers provide a variety of programs to special needs students. Speech-Language and English Language Learner programs are provided at the school. There is a solid exploratory curriculum with students receiving instruction in art, music, physical education and technology. This complements a strong set of core classes including a 150 minute literacy block for 5th graders. Mr. Brent Harrill is the principal; Mr. Jason Chicoine is the Associate Principal.
