DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Beveridge Magnet School is located at 1616 South 120th Street in Omaha. This middle school serves seventh and eighth grade students and is a Magnet School of Global Studies and the Arts. Students can choose a major and acquire knowledge and skills in visual and performing arts or International Studies. They showcase their proficiencies through performances, demonstrations, and exhibits. Students also learn about world issues and the effect of world events on their lives and future goals. Students reading above grade level have a unique chance to experience two full years of instruction in an international language. The Dual Language program is offered to select students with instruction presented in both English and Spanish. Student achievement and magnet theme areas enhance the strong tradition of high expectations for all students at Beveridge Magnet School.
