Alice Buffett Magnet Middle School is a state of the art learning center that offers a rigorous core curriculum augmented by innovative magnet offerings in communication skills and electronic media. Opened in 2004 to serve a diverse student population in grades 5-8, Buffett quickly distinguished itself by posting district-leading scores on state tests in reading, math, writing, and science. Buffett's high scores are a reflection of its high performing students and staff. In the 13-14 school year, the School Improvement Network filmed Buffett teachers for strong procedures and routines. In the 14-15 school year, Buffett underwent a rigorous internal and external review to maintain accreditation. AdvancED ranked Buffett among the top schools of over 32,000 schools internationally. In the 2015-2016 school year, the NDE gave Buffett a classification of "Excellent."
