DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Parrish School was named for Dr. Edwin H. Parrish, former Asst. Superintendent, Department of Vocational Education Services. At the start of the 2017-18 school year, Parrish School was relocated from 4469 Farnam Street to 4315 Cuming St. The new building was the headquarters of the Lyman Richey Corporation. ESP provides academic opportunities for secondary students who have been expelled for violations of the Omaha Public Schools’ Student Code of Conduct. To meet this mandate ESP offers credit accrual and recovery through direct classroom instruction, e-learning (Angel), and independent study. Additionally, students can earn elective credits from work-study and community volunteer programs.This program provides educational services as part of the public school system but in a different setting. Student information is not reported here but is included with the data of the school building where the student would reside or is assigned.
