DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Parrish School is the Expelled Student Program for the Omaha Public Schools. Parrish is an optional program that provides academic opportunities and continued academic engagement for secondary students who have been expelled for violations of the Omaha Public Schools’ Student Code of Conduct. To meet this mandate Parrish offers credit accrual and recovery through direct classroom instruction, on-line credit recovery, as well as some options for independent. Additionally, students can earn elective credits from work-experience and community volunteer programs. Students are placed back in traditional or alternative education settings following the conclusion of their expulsion.
