DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Built in 1925, the diverse population at Adams Elementary includes kindergarten through fifth grade. Programs offered at Adams include English as a Second Language, Special Education Resource, Alternate Curriculum Programming, Speech, and Gifted Education. Adams Elementary has a history of strong community involvement and staff who promote excellence in education. An active PTA provides extensive volunteer and financial assistance for academic and extracurricular opportunities. The mascot of Adams is the Archer, which is reflected in the school’s mission statement: "At Adams we aim to empower and inspire to achieve our fullest potential." Show choir, robotics, enrichment clubs, and Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, are just some of the opportunities that students enjoy at Adams. Our guiding expectations are Archers Aim to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.
