DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Beals Elementary school is located at 1720 South 48 Street in south central Omaha. A variety of programs are available to serve the students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. This neighborhood school enjoys the support of a stable community base reflecting the enrollment of children from second and third generation families. Beals embraces an inclusive learning environment in every classroom. The instruction programs include gifted and talented, special education, guidance and counseling and English Language Learners (ELL). An emphasis on the use of technology, the development of strong reading and math skills, and opportunities to foster social skills provide the students of Beals School with a well-balanced learning environment.
