DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Belle Ryan Elementary School is located at 1807 S. 60th ST in the heart of the Omaha Public Schools. Students in Pre-K through 6th grade are able to learn in an environment rich with diverse cultural, ethnic and socio- economic backgrounds where they all come together to find success in learning. Belle Ryan staff members implement rigorous classroom instruction and provide programs that include ECSE, HeadStart, E.L.L., Special Education, Counseling, and TAG to meet all students' needs. At Belle Ryan, students are able to reach their full potential with a variety of other activities such as Band, Strings, Robotics, Broadcasting, Student Council and Tutoring. Belle Ryan staff members are committed to the students and utilize researched based instruction with high engagement strategies to ensure achievement in all academic areas. Technology such as a state of the art computer lab, iPads, active learning boards and laptops are available to enhance instruction and to reach all learners.
