DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Conestoga Magnet Center is located at 2115 Burdette Street in Omaha. The school serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop sophisticated knowledge and skills in mathematics and economics education. Interesting and challenging activities prepare children for more advanced studies and a comprehensive view of the economic and mathematical influences on their lives and future. Through the Conestoga Capital Funds program, students learn how to investigate and evaluate public stock. They then have the opportunity to present recommendations to community partners for actual purchases. Classrooms use our “TRIBES” program to develop engaging and cooperative activities that promote a positive learning environment. Our curriculum, parents, and community support contribute to providing an enriched learning environment where every child develops to his or her greatest potential.
