DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Dundee Elementary School is located at 310 North 51 Street in Omaha. It is the oldest operating school in the Omaha Public School District. In keeping with its history of excellence, and in recognition of high student achievement, Dundee School was named a National No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School in 2005. Dundee serves students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Dundee Elementary is proud to be a school where children from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds come together and find success in learning. The gifted and talented program, special education, English as a Second Language, the services of a school counselor, as well as a variety of after school enrichment classes, are some of the programs that supplement and support the regular classroom instruction. True to its mission, Dundee Elementary School fosters an “intentionally inviting” environment where every child and staff member can learn and develop to his or her greatest potential.
