DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Fullerton Elementary Magnet Center offers a unique program in communication skills and electronic media for students in kindergarten through the 4th grade. In fact, students at Fullerton can continue this program at nearby Buffett Middle Magnet School, and therefore be involved in a communication and electronic media magnet program for all their elementary and middle school years! Fullerton is located at 4711 N 138 St. in Omaha. Students progress from a basic use of technology for presentations, to complex ones that incorporate sound, animation, and digital photography. Students have computers in their classrooms, computer labs, and mobile wireless labs, along with use of an in-house television studio. Active parent, community, and business involvement provides support to Fullerton. The school’s mascot, the falcon, symbolizes the motto and mission of having all Fullerton students “Soar with Confidence” as they prepare for the high technology age in which they will live and work.
