DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Hartman Elementary serves a diverse student population in grades PreK through fifth. Hartman's focus is on preparing all students for success. Staff use a variety of strategies to engage students and help them reach their highest potential. Several programs exist, both in and out of the classroom setting to support students such as; before school tutoring for both remedial assistance as well as gifted and talented students, Saturday School, Speech, Language, ESL, and Resource services, as well as mental health (individual student and family support). Hartman takes pride in involving the community in the education of our students. Volunteers from the community regularly work with students, and an after school Community Learning Center allows students to engage in academics and enrichment activities. We have an active P.T.O. and Dads on Duty parent group which is committed to supporting our students, and families. Working together, Hartman Hawks are soaring towards success.
