DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Kellom opened in 1892 at 1311 North 24th Street. Currently, Kellom serves students from early childhood through 6th grade. The diverse school community provides many learning opportunities for all students. Students receive additional assistance through such instructional best practices as co teaching through the inclusive model, RTI (Response To Intervention), Partnership for Kids and many more. Kellom is proud of our active in school partnerships such as Creighton University, Charles Drew Health Clinic, Lutheran Family Services, Alegent Licensed Mental Health, etc. The focus at Kellom is to foster globally responsible, compassionate, resilient, and productive citizens. The Kellom staff strives to nurture and develop the talents of active learners, increase academic achievement, develop appropriate life skills, and encourage healthy lifestyles within a safe environment.
