DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Rose Hill Elem is located at 5605 Corby St, in the historic Benson area. Rose Hill is bound to the south by the old Country Club area of Omaha. Our school serves a diverse community boasting a wide range of socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. The renovated building opened to students in March 2002, and now serves 310 students in grades K-5. With the involvement and support of parents and Community, our learning focus for students includes an emphasis in the development of effective reading, writing and math strategies, science, technology and respect and responsibility taught through out the school year. Instruction is enhanced by several support programs such as Gifted & Talented, guidance, Special Education and English as a Second Language. Rose Hill is proud of its active, supportive parent teacher organization and its partnerships throughout the Benson community. A quality education is provided that ensures all students are successful learners and responsible citizens.
