DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Saratoga Elementary, located at 2504 Meredith Avenue, serves students in Head Start, Early Childhood Special Ed, and Pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Next year, sixth grade will be moved to a middle school. The teaching staff continually implements best practice teaching strategies and high engagement to meet the needs of a diverse population. Supplemental instruction includes Gifted and Talented and Tutoring. Other learning opportunities include band, strings and student council. Community Partners such as the Center for Holistic Development provide an after school program for all students, offering extended academic and social enrichment activities. Teammates and Monday Morning Greeters continue to be actively involved in the academic and social development of Saratoga students. Staff, parents and community partners work together to achieve Saratoga’s mission of providing a caring and cooperative learning environment.
