DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Walnut Hill School is located at 4355 Charles Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Since the construction of our first building in 1888, we have continued to provide quality education for our students. Currently, Walnut Hill serves approximately 500 students in pre-kindergarten through the sixth grade. In recent years, our school population has begun to reflect the diverse community that surrounds us. We support students from many different cultures with over 19 languages within our classrooms. At Walnut Hill, we strive to engage students in the learning process and provide many different experiences and opportunities within the community. Students can also choose to participate in several after school activities such as intramural sports, student council, and extra-curricular clubs. Through engagement and opportunities, our mission is to prepare students to excel in college, career, and life.
