DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Integrated Learning Program (ILP), located at 3030 Spaulding Street, provides a specialized program for students with emotional, social, behavioral, and learning difficulties. The diverse student population includes students in kindergarten through twelfth grade who are referred to ILP through the IEP process. The program's primary purpose is to help students learn skills that will allow them be successful in neighborhood schools, transitional settings, and/or post-graduation goals. In order to accomplish this mission, ILP’s students are provided with individualized instruction, a low student-teacher ratio, a daily point card and level system, and direct instruction in social skills. Secondary students also have the opportunity to participate in career awareness courses and work-based learning experience. The Integrated Learning Program has frequent family activities, community events, and proudly welcomes visitors by appointment to observe our innovative teaching methods.
