DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Jackson Elementary, located at 620 South 31st Street serves a diverse population of students in PreK-Grade 6. Our staff challenges our students to excel academically. With the support of Special Education Services, ESL, and Paraprofessionals, we challenge our students to give their best. At Jackson, we are partners with Partnership for Kids who provides our students with the opportunity to set academic and social goals. We also are partners with Completely Kids who provides care and academic support for our students after school. Jackson Elementary is becoming a Dual Language School where students are given instruction in both English and Spanish. With each passing year we add a new grade level to the Dual Lanaguage Program. For the 2015-2016 school year we are excited to add Third Grade. We are also fortunate to have a partnership with some educational institutions in our community. Our educational partnerships include UNO, Creighton University, and Creighton Preparatory School.
