DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

King Science & Technology Magnet, located at 3720 Florence Boulevard is the only science magnet school in Omaha. The school’s magnet themes of inquiry, technology, and service learning are infused thought the curriculum. Students engage in high level science topics such as biology, zoology, chemistry, and physical science while integrating a variety of technology rich multimedia tools into their lessons. Students study space in the only middle school planetarium in Omaha. Hands-on and community focused service projects are completed throughout the year. The annual school-wide science fair and SET for Life Conference showcases students’ abilities through projects that are the result of the integration of science and technology while connecting to community leaders in the areas of science, engineering, and technology. King Science aims to educate future leaders in science and technology.
