DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


The Accelere Program offers students 17 years of age and older a flexible and intensive approach to earning credits toward a high school diploma in a smaller alternative school setting.  Courses are offered in four hour instructional blocks for a duration of three weeks.  Daily attendance is required.  Students participate in face-to-face classroom instruction in a morning and/or afternoon instructional block, choosing the schedule which best fits their availability.  There are 15 course sessions offered in one calendar year, including extended summer study. Classes are offered in three locations:  East wing of the Blackburn building, Metro Fort Omaha Campus, Metro South Omaha Campus.
