DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Secondary Success Program (SSP) serves as the middle school alternative program for the Omaha Public Schools. SSP is a program for students who are experiencing significant behavioral challenges that impede their learning in the traditional school setting. The program offers instruction in core academic curriculum along with a social and life skills curriculum, academic support, and service learning opportunities. The staff at SSP works with students to reengage in schooling and learn social, life, and academic skills. Individual behavior plans are created and monitored as students work toward their goals.
