Davis Middle School opened in Fall 2013 and is the newest of Omaha Public Schools’ 12 middle schools. Davis is a state-of-the-art, technology-rich building which incorporates high-performance green building designs. We are the first middle school in the region that is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certified. We serve students in grades 6-8. At Davis, we are proud to provide all students a safe and secure learning environment that is grounded in the academic fundamentals. Our mission statement is: All students at Davis Middle School will improve academic achievement in the areas of math, reading, and writing as measured by district and state assessments in preparation for high school, college, career, and life. Expectations at Davis are high for all students in the classroom, the community, and at all school functions. Davis is where a student’s future takes off.
