DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Gifford Park Elementary School is located at 717 North 32nd Street. We are the newest elementary school in the Omaha Public School District. We opened in August of 2019 after the Gifford Park neighborhood worked hard to get a bond passed to provide them with an elementary school within walking distance. True to our mission statement, we are a community that celebrates diversity while working to ensure academic and social success occur in a safe and nurturing environment. Gifford Park celebrates the diversity of the community, with over 14 languages spoken at the school and serves approximately 370 students in PK-6th grade. We have three Pre-K programs which provide learning and play opportunities for our EL and migrant program students, and students in the N.I.C.E. program. Gifford Park is a Title 1 school and is close to 92% free/reduced lunch status. We pride ourselves on creating a place where all students feel known, loved, and inspired to be and feel successful every day!
