DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The Early Childhood Center at Educare is located at 2123 Paul Street and serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. This site offers Early Head Start and Head Start. Early Head Start is a full day, full year option of Head Start that provides early childhood development experiences in a classroom environment. Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5. The Head Start Mission Statement is “To provide educational opportunities which enable all students to achieve their highest potential. Through effective teaching, as well as the involvement of the community and families, young children are instilled with the fundamentals of learning, respect and compassion. Head Start Values are: Quality, Integrity, Respect, Communication, Teamwork, Empowerment, Staff Development, and Cultural Diversity. Volunteer assistance from parents, as well as the community, is vital to the success of Head Start.
