DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

The Integrated Learning Program (ILP) provides a specialized program for students with social, emotional, behavioral and cognitive deficits. The diverse student population includes students in kindergarten through the age of 21 who are referred through the IEP process to ILP from other schools within the Omaha Public Schools. ILP's primary purpose is to teach skills that will allow our students to be successful in neighborhood schools, transitional settings, and/or post-graduation goals. In order to accomplish this mission, the students at ILP are provided with an individualized education program (IEP), a low student-teacher ratio, a daily point card based on a level system, and direct instruction in social skills. Secondary students also have the opportunity to participate in career awareness courses and work-based learning experiences.
