(Elkhorn Public Schools, K—5) Hillrise Elementary is located in the heart of Elkhorn and enrolls students from various subdivisions with diverse backgrounds. Hillrise Elementary is committed to continuous improvement and aims to serve the diverse needs of all learners. In addition to quality core instruction, students engage in courses such as media, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, special education, and English Learner education. Hillrise students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of Hillrise Elementary is to inspire lifelong learners, to foster a belief in one’s ability to succeed, to nurture respect and appreciation of self and others, and to encourage contributions to an ever-changing world.
