DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

(Elkhorn Public Schools, 6—8) Elkhorn “Classic” Middle School is located in the heart of Elkhorn and is committed to providing a program centered on the needs of young adolescents. The program stresses academic achievement, responsibility, reliability and cooperation through teamwork while recognizing the unique needs of each student. In addition to a solid core curriculum, students are able to explore their interests through various courses in art, music, technology, speech, drama, health and physical education. The mission of Elkhorn Middle School is to provide a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for developing young adolescents into lifelong learners through educational excellence. Elkhorn Middle School enrolled 414 students in 2015-16.
