DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
(Elkhorn Public Schools, K—5) Spring Ridge Elementary opened in 2000 and enrolls students from the fast-developing southeast side of the Elkhorn School District. In addition to quality core instruction students engage in courses such as media, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, foreign language, special education, and English Language Learner education. Spring Ridge students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of Spring Ridge Elementary is to ensure learning based on National, State, or District standards, believing that all students will reach a higher level of academic achievement. All members of our school community will demonstrate respect for self and others; work independently and collaboratively while being provided multiple opportunities to succeed. Spring Ridge enrolled 555 students in 2015-16.
