(Elkhorn Public Schools, K—5) Fire Ridge Elementary opened in 2005 and is located in the heart of the Elkhorn School District. Fire Ridge Elementary is committed to continuous improvement and aims to serve the diverse needs of all learners. In addition to quality core instruction students engage in courses such as media, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, foreign language, special education, and English Language Learner education. Fire Ridge students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of Fire Ridge Elementary is to, in partnership with parents and the community, empower students to reach their fullest potential. Fire Ridge enrolled 496 students in 2017-18.
