DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

(Elkhorn Public Schools, 9—12) Elkhorn South High School opened in 2010 to accommodate the rapid growth of the Elkhorn Public School District. State ACT assessments show Elkhorn South students among the top in the state in level of performance. The mission of Elkhorn South High School is to create an atmosphere of academic rigor that will prepare all students to become lifelong learners, enabling them to function in our global society. Elkhorn South offers a variety of course work and special programming to meet the needs of each individual student (e.g., High Ability, inclusive Special Education, Advanced Placement). Elkhorn South enrolled 1,327 students in 2018-19.
