DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

(Elkhorn Public Schools, Pre-K—5) West Bay Elementary opened in 2013 and is located on the far south side of the Elkhorn School District. West Bay is one of two Elkhorn elementary schools that also houses an early education center for preschool students. In addition to quality core instruction students engage in courses such as media, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, foreign language, special education, and English Language Learner education. West Bay students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of West Bay Elementary is to ensure, through a collaborative and safe environment, each student’s development and educational achievement by encouraging students to become responsible citizens and life long learners in a diverse and ever changing society. West Bay Elementary enrolled 400 students in 2015-16.
