DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

(Elkhorn Public Schools, Pre-K—5) West Bay Elementary opened in 2013 and is located on the south side of the Elkhorn School District. West Bay is one of four Elkhorn elementary schools that also houses an early education center for preschool students. In addition to quality core instruction, students engage in courses such as media/technology, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, special education, and English Learner education. West Bay students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of West Bay Elementary is to ensure, through a collaborative and safe environment, each student’s development and educational achievement by encouraging students to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and ever-changing society. West Bay Elementary enrolled 485 students in 2022-23.
