DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

(Elkhorn Public Schools, K—5) Sagewood Elementary opened in 2013 and is located along the fast-growing Maple Street corridor in the Elkhorn School District. In addition to quality core instruction students engage in courses such as media, art, music, physical education, guidance, high ability education, foreign language, special education, and English Language Learner education. Sagewood students thrive with strong support from the Elkhorn Community and high levels of parent involvement at the school. The mission of Sagewood Elementary School is to build a nurturing and inclusive environment of lifelong learners. Our school community will foster individual growth by providing students with challenging and diverse learning opportunities so they will achieve academic success and thrive as responsible citizens. Sagewood Elementary enrolled around 384 students in 2016-17.
