DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
The Westridge Early Education Center is a program that primarily serves young children with disabilities, children who qualify for the Title I program and children who have reached age three who demonstrate a need due to limited English proficiency. The active preschool learning environment provides opportunities for children to develop their cognitive, social, language, emotional, motor and self-help skills. The preschool day is a balance between teacher-directed lessons and child initiated time where children choose activities and explore a wide range of materials.
