Douglas County West Community High School offers a rigorous curriculum with multiple course offerings and a comprehensive activities program to give students a broad educational background to prepare them for further education and the world of work. DC West High School offers accelerated courses, dual-college credit courses, independent study college courses, on-line college courses, two world languages, enhanced vocational and fine arts programs, alternative education plans, as well as expanded learning opportunities through the use of interactive technologies including a one-to-one i-Pad initiative. Small class size and an advisory system allow the staff to develop individual rapport with students and parents to work collaboratively to ensure successful learning experiences for all students.
