Millard South fosters academic excellence through an array of honors, AP courses, broad elective courses, a four-year guidance curriculum, Personal Learning Plans, and an A/B block schedule. Service learning is strong amongst our student groups. We offer the only early college high school program in the state of Nebraska. Our Early College program allows students to earn an associate's degree while in high school. We also offer Avenue Scholars and College Possible. Teachers participate in Professional Learning Communities. Stakeholders contribute to the school improvement process with a focus to increase student achievement. Systemic academic and behavior interventions provide support for all students. Our goal is to improve student achievement and engagement for every student each year, along with narrowing achievement gaps. The 2016-2017 school year will be our inaugural year for Air Force Junior ROTC.
