DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING

Holling Heights Elementary is a culturally and economically diverse learning community. We are a full Title I building, one of four elementary schools in Millard Public Schools to welcome English language learners, and one of two to house a self-contained special education program for students with emotional disturbances. The mission of Holling Heights is to guarantee that each student develops the character traits and masters the academic skills essential for personal excellence and involved citizenship by creating a world-class school that engages and challenges all through effective practices and diverse programs. We utilize effective teaching methods, assess student learning on a regular basis, and develop interventions for students who aren't meeting or who are already exceeding expectations. We also stretch learning experiences beyond the traditional school time frame by engaging students before/after school and during summer break.
