DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING


Ralston Middle School utilizes an interdisciplinary, team-based instruction model to serve between 450 and 550 students annually in grades 7 and 8. Mathematics, language arts, science, social studies and special education teachers collaborate to plan and deliver core instruction for two teams at each grade level. Students also experience elective course offerings in fine arts, business, industrial technology, world language, information technology, family and consumer science, and physical education. Teachers in all content areas utilize various technology tools to help integrate Google Apps for Education and other web based programs that enhance and enrich students’ learning experiences. Beyond the classroom, students at Ralston Middle School have extra and co-curricular opportunities to explore interests in a wide variety of activities and athletics.
