Seymour Elementary is a preschool through sixth grade building with approximately 220 students located in the city of Ralston in Douglas County. We pride ourselves on academic achievement, character education, technology, community engagement, family involvement and student safety. We offer challenging academics with curriculum in all core areas aligned with the Nebraska State Standards. The faculty of Seymour, both highly qualified and extremely motivated, is truly committed to providing a positive climate of encouragement and support ensuring the academic success and personal well being of each child. Seymour prides itself on serving each child individually. Our guided stations such as our "Walk to Read" program enables our students to be taught in smaller groups at their instructional level. Furthermore, our staff is dedicated to engaging our students, cultivating family participation, and promoting academic success as the key to the opportunities of life.
