Blumfield Elementary is a student-centered building where the focus is constantly on student learning. Children's most meaningful learning occurs through positive and supportive relationships with caring and nurturing adults, and that is what makes Blumfield a quality public school. Taking pride in the forward thinking of the 21st century learner, Blumfield is focused on creating future problem solvers. The structure of the building provides for an open concept of communication and co-teaching. The open concept building promotes a “team” environment where everyone is working toward the success for all students. The openness not only provides for communication and collaboration but also for accountability. Teachers take ownership and pride in the fact that they differentiate the learning to meet the needs of all students. The staff makes extraordinary efforts to support and help each other to let students know that they will be valued for the individuals that they are.
