DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL BUILDING
Wildewood elementary serves approximately 300 students in preschool through 6th grade. The Wildewood Parent Teacher Organization plays an active role in our school community. They organize educational and recreational activities for families including a Back to School carnival, BINGO night, skating parties, Basket Auction, and an Ice Cream Social, to name a few. Their fundraising efforts have ranged from $8,000-$11,000. This money has supported field trips, improvements around the school, and provided additional classroom equipment and materials. In the 2009-2010 school year, they earmarked a specific amount of the funds raised to purchase a digital electronic sign for the front of the school.
