Westside High School is a 9-12 school with approximately 2,000 students. WHS strives to meet the unique needs of all learners, offering more than 40 AP and Honors courses, and 1:1 laptop program, over 60 extracurricular clubs and modular scheduling. Instruction is delivered through large group, small group, laboratory and independent study where students can meet with teachers during the school day. Designated twice as “Best in the State” by Redbook and as a “Most Challenging High School” by the Washington Post, this two-time Blue Ribbon winner is nationally recognized as an academic leader and innovator. Westside has been recognized as an "Apple Distinguished School” annually the award has been given. Westside’s celebrated music, art and athletic programs provide opportunities for students in state of the art facilities. Westside continues its history of high student achievement, test scores that continue to be in the top of the metropolitan area, state and nation.
